What it is
Books that keep themselves.
Tour Books turns Claude into your tour accountant. You tell it where your deals are, and it builds the books, keeps them current as tickets sell and shows settle, and tells you what needs your attention.
This is the base package. Once it's installed, you can always customize it further: ask Claude for a new section, different alerts, your own categories, or a report for your manager, and it builds it into your books.
- Finds every show and its deal in your email, contracts or texts, and books them after you say yes.
- Tracks ticket sales and what each show will pay at today's count, from door deals and guarantees to house nuts and sellout bonuses.
- Sorts every expense into the Schedule C lines self-employed performers file, so tax time is one table.
- Flags shows that are selling slowly, at the thresholds you choose, and drafts the promo to fix it.
- Takes settlement photos, receipts and bank exports straight from your phone through a Google Drive or Dropbox inbox.

Your numbers stay right: nothing is written without your yes, unconfirmed deal terms stay blank instead of guessed, every dollar is counted once, and every change can be undone.

Who is it for?
Anyone who plays rooms for a cut of the door or a guarantee: comedians, musicians and bands, speakers, live podcasts, authors on book tours. It works for a four-date run or a forty-date tour.
What do I need?
The Claude desktop app on a paid plan, on Mac or Windows. Connecting Gmail and Google Drive or Dropbox is optional but lets Claude find your deals and take uploads from your phone. Claude walks you through installing anything else during setup.
Does it connect to my bank?
No bank logins, ever. You download a transaction export from your bank or Venmo, drop it in your inbox, and Claude sorts tour costs from personal ones for you to approve.
Where does my data live?
Your books stay on your computer. Only your inbox and promo folders live in your own Google Drive or Dropbox. Nothing is sent to BOTHRD.
Can I customize it?
Yes. Tour Books is the base package. After you install it, ask Claude for whatever your tour needs, like a new dashboard section, different alert levels, extra categories, or a weekly summary for your manager, and it adds it to your books. For something bigger, like a system for your whole team, BOTHRD builds custom software.
Will it post for me?
It drafts promo by default and you approve it. If you connect a tool that can post to your accounts, you can switch it to posting.
Is it tax advice?
No. It organizes your numbers the way a tax preparer wants them. Talk to a professional about what you owe.
